Rockford has always done a Start of Summer parade as long as I can remember. We made the trip up there (since you get free candy!) and also took a ride on the ferris wheel. Let summer begin!

The firetrucks were VERY loud and they sat in front of us for too long!

Can you tell she wasn't real happy when I told her we didn't get to ride it again?(Two reasons: 1. I found a $20 bill to pay for the first ride and once I realized the price, I was not going to pay it! 2. Because I am pregnant I didn't get to ride!)
